1. Only ORIGINAL works can be entered. No music subject to copyright restrictions will be accepted. Each contestant maintains full liability and responsibility if copyrighted materials are entered.

2. Each contestant must be a registered user (no charge) at spottsmusic.com to enter. You must register with a valid email address or your account will be removed and your votes will be nullified. Spotts Music Center employees and Teaching Staff are permitted to place entries in the competition but will be ineligible for prize(s).

3. Each contestant may enter and upload one selection per competition. Contestant can upload their entry at anytime during the competition. They may opt to replace their selection any time during the competition but will forfeit any fan points accumulated at the time of replacement.

4. User Registration is limited to one per person. Periodic testing is done to identify multiple accounts. Any contestant that registers as a user multiple times will have his entry pulled and will be disqualified from any further competitions

5. All registered users of spottsmusic.com will vote on their favorites by awarding their Fan Points to entries as they see fit. Contestants are prohibited from voting on their own entry. Fan Point allocation is limited to 100 per registered user per competition. They will be allocated 25 points to each registered user, each Monday (up to 4) of the competition.

6. Contest winner(s) is determined by total Fan Point accumulation at the competition stop date/time. Winner(s) will be contacted via e-mail and announced on spottsmusic.com. Prizes will be awarded as follows: First Prize to most Fan Points accumulated; Second Prize to second most Fan Points accumulated; Third Prize to third most Fan Points accumulated, etc. In the event of a tie for any prize, a coin-toss will be used to determine the top position. Contestants will be notified and invited to attend the toss.

7. Real-time scoring is available for viewing on the web site.

8. First Place winning entries will be prohibited from entry into subsequent competitions. All other entries can be re-entered in subsequent competitions.

9. Spotts Music Center reserves the right to cancel, update the rules, postpone or nullify any entry or votes in the competition at any time if it deems unfair practices are being employed.

10. Spotts Music Center reserves the right to use entered works in the promotion of the competition on www.spottsmusic.com.
