How to Apply Rosin
- If the rosin cake is new, lightly score the surface to help it release onto the bow hair.
- Hold the rosin steady using the plastic channel for grip.
- Draw the bow across the rosin three to four times at the start of a playing session.
- Avoid over-applying, which can lead to a gritty sound and rosin buildup on the instrument.
