E-String Adjuster - Violin Fine Tuner - VP-14 (each)

E-String Adjuster – Violin Fine Tuner – VP-14

This Anton Breton fine tuner mounts directly to the tailpiece and gives a player precise, small-increment tuning without having to touch the pegs. It accepts both loop-end and ball-end strings, so it works with whichever type is already on the instrument.

Made from quality brass with a triple nickel plating, it's built to hold up over years of regular adjustment. It's a natural fit for a student violin, since fine tuners make it much easier to get precisely in tune without the string slipping or overshooting the pitch.

Key Features

Mounts on the Tailpiece

Attaches securely to give precise fine tuning right at the tailpiece.

Fits Loop or Ball-End Strings

Works with either string end type, so it fits whatever's already installed.

Triple Nickel Plating

A lustrous, durable finish that resists wear over years of use.

Precise, Small-Increment Tuning

Makes fine pitch adjustments easy without touching the tuning peg.

Quality Brass Construction

Sturdy build designed to hold its adjustment reliably.

Fits 4/4 & 3/4 Size Violins

Sized to work with standard full and 3/4-size instruments.

How to Install and Use This Fine Tuner

  1. Loosen the string enough to remove it from the tailpiece hole or hook.
  2. Mount the fine tuner onto the tailpiece in the tuner's designated slot.
  3. Attach the string's loop or ball end to the fine tuner's hook.
  4. Tune the string up to pitch with the peg, then use the fine tuner's screw for small, precise adjustments.

Care Tip: Turn the fine tuner's screw in small increments rather than cranking it all the way in one direction. Overtightening can put unnecessary strain on the string and tailpiece.
