Trombone Flex Brush - Nylon Cleaning Snake for Bore & Slide - HE76
Trombone Flex Brush – Nylon Cleaning Snake for Bore & Slide – HE76
The Herco HE76 is a flexible cleaning snake built for the length of a trombone's tubing, coated in nylon so it won't scratch the inner slide or bore as it travels through. It's part of Herco's long-running care lineup, a name band directors have trusted for instrument maintenance for decades.
It also works for euphonium, which shares a similar bore diameter. For any trombone or euphonium player who wants a simple, reliable way to clear built-up grime from the inside of the horn, this brush covers the job without extra frills.
Key Features
Nylon-Coated Construction
Coated so the brush cleans grime out without scratching the metal it's cleaning.
Flexible Wire Core
Bends through the bore and slide sections instead of jamming at the bends.
Full-Length Reach
Sized to clean the full run of a trombone's tubing in a single pass.
Safe on the Finish
Made of nylon, so it won't mark up the inner slide or bore as it works.
Works for Trombone & Euphonium
Sized to fit both instruments, since they share a similar bore diameter.
Made in the USA
Built by Herco, a longtime standard in band and orchestra care products.
How to Clean Your Bore and Slide
- Separate the outer and inner slide sections before brushing.
- Feed the flex brush gently through each section, letting it follow the bends without forcing it.
- Work the brush back and forth a few times to loosen built-up grime, then rinse the sections with lukewarm water.
- Dry thoroughly before reassembling and applying slide oil or cream.
Care Tip: Clean the bore before you re-oil the slide, not after. Oiling over trapped grime just seals it in against the metal instead of clearing it out.
