Bach BTR201 Student Bb Trumpet
A student horn from Vincent Bach — thoughtfully spec'd for durability, easy response, and a warm tone that carries a young player well past the beginner stage.
Is This the Right Trumpet for You?
The Bach BTR201 is built for the beginning student who deserves a real Bach without stepping up to a pro-level price. Carrying the Vincent Bach name, it's designed around the things that actually help a new player: an easy .459" bore that keeps the air moving, a seamless yellow brass bell for clear projection, and a gold brass leadpipe that resists corrosion and adds real longevity. Small touches make a big difference here — the nickel silver mouthpiece receiver helps keep mouthpieces from sticking, and the adjustable 3rd slide ring plus 1st slide thumb saddle give students the control they need to play in tune. It's the kind of horn a band director trusts and a student can grow into.

Sound and Feel
The BTR201 leans warm and broad, with the seamless bell giving it clear projection and control that reads well in a concert band. The gold brass leadpipe smooths the response so the tone stays even from soft passages to fuller playing, and the easy .459" bore keeps things comfortable through long rehearsals. It feels approachable to a newcomer while still offering the refinement you'd expect from the Bach name.
