The Wine Cellar is Caline’s take on the classic SansAmp-style bass driver, aiming to capture the sound of a miked tube bass amp in a single pedal. Drive, High and Low frequency controls, an HF Harmonics knob, and a Mix control let you dial the balance between a clean signal and a driven, amp-like character, backed by analog cabinet emulation circuitry.
Because it doubles as a DI box — with a balanced XLR output plus a parallel 1/4″ jack to also feed a stage amp — it’s a practical, low-cost way for a bassist to get amp-like tone directly into a mixer or interface without hauling a full rig.
