Alvarez Regent RF26CE OM/Folk Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Natural Gloss
A comfortable OM/Folk cutaway with scalloped bracing, an onboard EQ and tuner, and a slim, student-friendly neck — open, full tone that plugs in without fuss.
Is This the Right Guitar for You?
The RF26CE is a smart pick for the player who wants a comfortable, easy-playing acoustic-electric that still sounds open and full. The OM/Folk body is more compact than a dreadnought, which makes it a natural fit for fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and anyone who finds a big-bodied guitar a little unwieldy. A slightly slimmer neck profile and nut make it easy to hold and fret, which is a real help for students and smaller hands. The cutaway opens up the upper frets, and the onboard SYS250 EQ with a built-in tuner lets you plug into a PA or amp and stay in tune without extra gear. Scalloped bracing and quality components help this guitar project and respond better than you would expect at this price. If you want an affordable, balanced-sounding acoustic-electric that is genuinely comfortable to play, this is a rewarding place to start.
