Ernie Ball Super Locks Strap Lock Set - Black - P04601
Ernie Ball Super Locks Strap Lock Set – Black – P04601
Super Locks replace your factory strap buttons with a locking mechanism built for the stage. A push-button, quick-release design gives you a complete 360-degree connection between strap and instrument, so a stray bump or an aggressive move on stage doesn't send your guitar to the floor.
The steel construction is case-hardened and plated for rust resistance, and the locking pins won't release until the button is fully depressed, so accidental releases aren't a concern. This set of two fits standard strap buttons and includes the screws you need to install them.
Key Features
360-Degree Secure Connection
A complete locking connection between strap and instrument keeps your guitar attached through even aggressive stage moves.
Push-Button Quick Release
Swap guitars or take your instrument off in seconds by depressing the button, no fumbling with clips.
Case-Hardened Steel
Steel-plated construction resists rust and holds up to the wear of regular gigging.
Positive Locking Pins
The lock won't release until the button is fully pressed, so accidental drops aren't a concern.
Works With Any Strap
Securely fastened buttons mean Super Locks work with straps that don't have their own locking mechanism.
Set of Two, Screws Included
Comes with both locks and the screws you need, ready to install on your instrument.
How to Install Super Locks
- Remove your existing strap buttons from the guitar body and strap end, or drill a 7/64" pilot hole 1 1/2" deep if the instrument has no existing buttons.
- Screw the included strap button halves into the guitar body and headstock or heel, using the provided screws.
- Attach the locking half of each unit to your strap ends.
- Press the strap end onto the guitar-mounted button until it clicks into place, confirming a full 360-degree lock.
Care Tip: Test the lock by gently tugging on the strap after installation, before you rely on it at a gig, to confirm the pin is fully seated. If you switch guitars often, leave the strap-side locks attached and only swap the guitar-side buttons between instruments to save setup time.
