Tenor Marching Mallets - Aluminum Shaft, Nylon Cookie Tip - ATA1

Tenor Marching Mallets – Aluminum Shaft, Nylon Cookie Tip – ATA1

The ATA1 pairs a white powder-coated aluminum shaft with a nylon "cookie" tip — a flat, disc-shaped head that gives marching tenor lines a bright, articulate attack with real projection outdoors. The shaft is strengthened by Promark's powder coating process, and a soft, textured rubber grip keeps the mallet controllable through fast passages.

Part of Promark's AT Marching Series, the ATA1 is built for the demands of marching tenor drums, where projection and articulation matter as much as durability across a full season of rehearsals and competitions.

Key Features

Nylon Cookie Tip

A cookie-style nylon head delivers bright, articulate attack that projects across a marching tenor line.

White Powder-Coated Aluminum Shaft

The coating process strengthens the aluminum shaft for the demands of a full marching season.

Textured Rubber Grip

A soft, textured grip keeps control secure through fast tenor passages and long rehearsals.

Built for Marching Tenors

Part of the AT Marching Series, engineered specifically for tenor drum applications.

Vibration-Reducing Head Attachment

The nylon head is attached with a process designed to reduce vibration and improve response.

Made in the USA

Designed and manufactured in the USA to Promark's quality standards.

Care Tip: Check the nylon cookie heads regularly for cracking where they meet the shaft — the flat cookie shape takes a lot of direct impact on marching tenors, and a cracked head changes the articulation you're relying on. Store mallets upright in a stick bag rather than loose to protect the tip edges.
